- What does early access mean?
- Second Gear is currently in early access. All Pro features are available to everyone for free, with no limits enforced. When we’re ready to launch Pro, we’ll give at least 30 days notice before enforcing free-tier limits.
- Will I lose my data when limits are enforced?
- Never. We never delete user data. If you exceed free-tier limits when they’re enforced, excess groups and projects become read-only — you can still view everything. Upgrade to Pro to regain full access, or consolidate to stay within the free limits.
- What’s an accountability group?
- A small group of people you trust who can see your goals and progress. The idea is simple: when someone you care about can see what you’re working toward, you’re more likely to follow through.
- Is my data private within groups?
- You control what’s visible. Only todos you explicitly add to a group are seen by members. Your personal todos, other groups, and private projects are never shared.
